I know that the psoas is actually a muscle around the pelvis and lower back, but it sounds like a wild animal. Especially since this article is specifically for martial artists. I'm imagining the b-movie villain steepling his fingers and saying "Releeease the psoas!" then sitting back and watching it tear his victim apart.
