whatistigerbalm has just gotten around to reading it and cannot help but express glee about mismatched expectations:

I figured, it's a classic, it's about bunnies, it'll be some sad shit for kids where IDK somebody's bunny wanders off and dies or something. I did not expect BUNNY SPARTA: TOTAL BUNNY CARNAGE EDITION. Loved the hell out of it!

Dad used to read that story to my 4/5 year old brother. He *still* keeps stuffed bunnies around his apartment, in his 30s. I blame that book ;)

...hm. I also read that book very young, and I am currently (although not yet 30) in a similar state of stuffed bunny-hoarding!
